The federal government has decreased the price of petrol by Rs3.13 per litre. In contrast, the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) has increased by Rs3.74 per litre.

After this revision, petrol now costs Rs345.87 per litre. Diesel is priced at Rs378.05 per litre.

This change follows a recent increase in prices. Just a day earlier, the government raised petrol and diesel prices by Rs2.84 and Rs2.28 per litre, respectively. This brought their prices to Rs349 and Rs374.31 per litre.

Fuel prices have been revised multiple times this week. These adjustments are part of the government’s petroleum pricing mechanism, which considers international oil prices and other cost factors.
